Preparing New Beginnings carefully.
A gradual start gives the team room to develop the program alongside the property.

New Beginnings is being developed as a residential pathway for people returning from prison. The current direction begins with preparation: define the program, establish the basic setting and recruit and train a manager.
The proposed first group is two or three residents. Rehabilitation and coffee planting will be part of the residents’ work and practical learning.
Growth at a manageable pace
This approach may extend the time before the project can support itself. It also makes room for the team and residents to take part in its development. The planting schedule and complete startup costs still need to be worked through.
The first stage focuses on readiness: a trained manager, a prepared home and a small first group.
