A place to begin again

New Beginnings is being developed as a place of welcome for people returning from prison. The vision brings together a supportive home, discipleship, practical training and agricultural work on a seven-acre property.

Starting small and building together

The first stage is to finalize the program, prepare the basic site and recruit and train a manager. The plan is then to welcome two or three residents. Property rehabilitation and planting will become part of the residents’ work and learning, with up to four additional acres planned for coffee.

Preparing for the year ahead

A full New Beginnings site review is planned for the January 2027 trip. The team anticipates further updates and progress as preparations move toward the new year. Development will follow readiness, with tools, transport, training and small agricultural activities introduced in stages.

Pray with us

Pray for the right manager, thoughtful preparation and a home where people can grow in faith, responsibility and belonging.
