Prison ministry
Baptism Sunday at Kakumiro
August 9, 2026
Returning to a changing community
Many people present during the May visit had since been transferred or released. On August 9, the team returned to Kakumiro, where the reported prison population was 203. Thirty-nine people were baptized and 28 professed faith during the visit.
Continuing care
The visit included a meal and Discovery Bible Study. The team also discussed the possibility of another visit during the January 2027 ministry trip. Pray for those still in prison and for those carrying their faith back into their communities.
